This heirloom quality stock pin is probably antique, but certainly at least early vintage.  It is 15ct yellow gold in a heavy safety pin form. Atop the pin is a reverse intaglio painted fox mask. This art form, so far as we are able to determine, is no longer practiced at this level of quality.  Each crystal is reverse carved and painted, and this image is encased and framed in gold with some very light scratches to the reverse as expected with a pin of this age. The cabochon measures 1/2" round, and the crystal is free of  detectable scratches. The entire pin measures 2 1/2" long with a tight clasp.  This would be an alluring stock pin to wear hunting and/or as a fashion accessory.
